Inter could make another attempt to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
Matias Vecino looks set to leave Inter this month amid strong interest from Premier League club Everton and Inter could go back in for Vidal if Vecino does go on to depart.
Inter had tried to bring Vidal in earlier on this month but Barcelona were reluctant to drop their asking price for him which led Inter to focusing their attention elsewhere, namely on Christian Eriksen.
Whilst a move for Vidal would remain particularly difficult to achieve, Inter could still try and land him. If unable to get Vidal, the Nerazzurri could go in for one of his compatriot’s, Bayer Leverkusen’s Charles Aranguiz instead, the report goes on to detail.
The 30-year-old is out of contract with the Bundesliga side come the end of the season therefore Inter might be able to get him in a cheap deal.
