Inter have been offered the opportunity to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Charles Aranguiz according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Chilean international’s agent Fernando Felicevich is understood to have been in contact with Inter management yesterday and it was during this contact that he made Inter aware of Aranguiz’s availability.
The 30-year-old is out of contract with the Bundesliga outfit come the end of the season therefore he could be acquired in a low cost deal. As per the report, it could take just €5 million for Leverkusen to let Aranguiz leave.
The report does however go on to state that Inter continue to have a slight hope that they will be able to bring in Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal this month.
Inter tried to bring the former Juventus midfielder to the club earlier on in the window but Barcelona made things difficult and Inter therefore had to focus their attention elsewhere.
