Today is the day Inter should finally get their move for Christian Eriksen over the line and afterwards, the club will then turn their attention to other targets according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Danish international arrived in Milan this morning in order to undergo a medical with the club before going on to sign a four and a half year contract and thus finalise his reported €20 million move from Tottenham Hotspur.
Once this move is complete, Inter will then look to bring in a striker although it remains unclear whether it will be Fernando Llorente or Olivier Giroud.
Inter have already agreed terms with Chelsea and Giroud over a deal but could end up going in for Llorente due to the fact a deal for him would work out cheaper.
The report goes on to add that with Matias Vecino looking likely to depart, Inter are on the lookout for a midfielder to replace him and they have identified Bayer Leverkusen’s Charles Aranguiz as a possibility. The Chilean has just six months left on his deal therefore could be acquired in a low cost deal.
The Milan based newspaper go on to conclude that Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s move from the club should be finalised today. Flamengo officials have been in Milan for a few days and have offered Inter €18 million.
