Inter will receive a bonus payment from Flamengo if Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is to go to the 2022 World Cup with Brazil according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter are in talks with Flamengo over the 23-year-old striker’s permanent transfer and a deal is expected to be reached between the clubs just shortly with officials from the Brazilian champions currently in Milan with a view to finalising a deal.

As per the report, Inter will get €18 million for the former Santos player and they will also receive 20% if Flamengo go on to sell him in the future.

Gabigol has already agreed personal terms with the Rio de Janeiro based club who he spent 2019 on loan with. He has agreed to a four year contract with an annual net salary of €4 million per season.

During his loan spell, he made 58 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 43 goals and provided 13 assists for his teammates.
