Legendary Italian football manager Marcello Lippi has encouraged second placed Inter and third placed Lazio to keep on fighting in the race to win the Serie A title.
“Inter and Lazio must not give up. There is still the possibility for them to win the Scudetto,” he explained in an interview with Gr Parlamento.
“Juve, in my opinion, did not have the right mental approach against Napoli, perhaps because they saw Inter and Lazio equalising before and though that, considering the not so brilliant moment of Napoli, they would have won the game with their champions. Napoli, on the other hand, were very concentrated and played the perfect game.
“Those who are chasing Juventus must worry because despite the fact Juventus have only shown 60-70% of their potential, they are first in the league, in the knockout stages of the Champions League and still in the Coppa Italia.
“They are a team that will improve and if in March they have all their players still available, they can also win the Champions League.”
