Walter Zenga has reflected on Inter’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari yesterday as he appeared on Italia Uno show Pressing Serie A.

Inter did not draw because of the referee, as Handanovic rightly said as a true captain. Inter played well for the first 20 minutes of the second half and created many chances. They should have killed the game off but there was a certainly a drop off and the nervousness shown is not good for anyone.”

He then spoke on referee Gianluca Manganiello’s performance.

“It was not just one incident but his whole management of the game. However, there is no justification for the manager not going to the press room or what happened at the end of the game.”

He was then asked about Inter’s chances of winning the Serie A title.

Nobody thinks that Inter can win the Serie A title this year, what they are doing is already more than they were expected to at the beginning of the season.”
