Inter could get as much as an extra €6 million for now former striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from Spanish news outlet AS.

The 23-year-old completed a permanent transfer to Brazilian giants Flamengo earlier on today in a deal worth €17 million in total.

Gabigol has joined Flamengo on a four year contract and Inter could still benefit from him in the future due to the fact they have a 10% sell on clause in the deal they reached with Flamengo.

As per the report from AS, Gabigol has a €60 million release clause in his new contract with Flamengo therefore if a team is to pay that release clause, Inter will get €6 million.

Even if he is sold for less than his release clause in the future, Inter will at least get a little extra for the former Santos man who they forked out €30 million to sign back in the Summer of 2016.
