Inter have put their move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud on hold as they take a look at other players who could potentially bolster their attacking department according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter have already reportedly agreed a deal with Chelsea for his transfer as well as personal terms with the player himself but are now considering the possibility of making a move for Napoli’s Fernando Llorente or Sassuolo’s Alessandro Matri, who is currently out on loan at Brescia.

The report from FCInterNews.it goes on to provide an update about midfielder Matias Vecino’s immediate future with the club, amid continued interest from elsewhere in his services.

Vecino was placed on the transfer list by Inter and has been excluded from each of the past two match day squads but as per the report, the Uruguayan international could be reinstated for tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia quarter final match-up with Fiorentina.

If this happens, it would suggest that the 28-year-old will be sticking around in the meantime.
