Christian Eriksen could be handed his Inter debut in tonight’s Coppa Italia quarter final match-up at San Siro with Fiorentina according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 27-year-old Danish international attacking midfielder completed a reported €20 million transfer from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur yesterday and has joined Inter on a four and a half year deal.

Shortly after being announced as Inter’s latest recruit this month, he joined his new teammates for his first training session.

As per the report from the Milan based newspaper, Inter manager Antonio Conte could put Eriksen on the bench for the match against La Viola.

Depending on how the match is going, the former Ajax player could be given his first opportunity to show the Inter fans what he is capable of and be handed some time on the pitch.

Eriksen, who has chosen to wear the number 24 with the club, has already made 28 appearances across all competitions this season, in which he has scored three and assisted three.
