In an interview with ParmaLive.com, Crescenzo Cecere, one of the agents of Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu, has confirmed that his client would be happy to join Parma on loan.

Reports in the media in recent days have suggested that Parma are particularly keen on bringing in the Romanian international shot-stopper on loan for the remainder of the season after losing starting goalkeeper Luigi Sepe to injury.

Radu has spent the first half of the 2019/20 season out on loan at fellow Serie A outfit Genoa but has recently lost his place in the team – and is unlikely to get it back – following the arrival of Mattia Perin from Juventus.

Cecere firstly spoke on the situation between Inter and Genoa.

“You can never say too much until the documents and contracts have been signed. At the moment there is contact between Genoa and Inter, who own him,” he began.

He proceeded to address the interest of Parma.

“We are working. The player would be very happy to go to Parma but we are still waiting for other things to happen. We all hope to close a deal, we are waiting.”

22-year-old Radu has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date this season. In 1740 minutes on the park, he has conceded a total of 37 goals and managed to keep two clean sheets.
