Juventus Could Try & Sign Inter Striker Mauro Icardi This Summer

Juventus could try and sign Mauro Icardi during the Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Inter striker currently finds himself out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain, who have an option to turn his stay in the French capital into a permanent one for a sum of €70 million.

As things stand, PSG have every intention of taking up the option to sign Icardi. With club legend Edinson Cavani set to leave, there are very few, if any, better long term replacements out there than the 26-year-old Argentine.

Icardi himself is enjoying life in Paris, despite the disruption it has caused to his family, who split their time between Paris and Milan, and wishes to stay put at the Parc des Princes.

Even if PSG do sign Icardi up permanently, which looks more than likely, Juventus could still and try and make a move for him as they eye the addition of a new striker to their ranks. The report also states that Juventus have already made contact with PSG.
