Pisa will meet with Inter today to hold talks over a possible loan move for Inter Primavera player Marco Pompetti according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.
Pompetti has spent the first half of the 2019/20 season out on loan at Sampdoria’s Primavera side but could well find himself playing Serie B football for the second half of the season if Pisa get their way.
The Italian youth international is primarily a defensive midfielder but also more than capable of playing as a central midfielder too.
Pompetti would be the second player to join the Tuscany based side from Inter this month if a loan move goes through after goalkeeper Vladan Dekic completed a permanent switch to them earlier on this month.
This season Pompetti has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1204 minutes on the field, all of which have come at Primavera level, he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
