Inter will pay little over €1 million to sign Martin Satriano from Nacional according to a report from Uruguayan news outlet Ovacion.

The highly rated young striker is currently in Italy to undergo a medical with the club and if he passes the medical, Inter will pay the Uruguayan Primera Division side €1.1 million. The total fee could rise as high as €1.5 million depending on if appearance based bonuses are met.

Satriano is a primarily an out and out striker but also capable of playing as a second striker if needs be. The 18-year-old, who holds dual Uruguayan and Italian nationality, is expected to play in Inter’s Primavera side for the foreseeable future if he is signed.

Satriano has yet to even make his first team debut for Nacional but has impressed with his performances for Nacional’s youth team.

The last time Inter signed a young player from Nacional came back in 1997 with that player being none other than Alvaro Recoba, who went on to become a real fan favourite during his time with the club.
