Inter could finalise a deal for Chievo Verona starlet Ibrahim Karamoko in the coming hours according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Karamoko is one of the brightest talents in the Gialloblu club’s academy and reports elsewhere in the media have suggested Chievo Verona wanted €4 million for him.

The young Frenchman has been with the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club since the Summer of 2017 when he joined them from Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille’s academy.

Primarily a central midfielder, the 18-year-old is also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder or out on the right.

This season he has made 14 appearances across all competitions to date, 13 of which have come at Primavera level. In 1184 minutes on the field, Karamoko has contributed a single goal and tallied a single assist too.

Karamoko is likely to find himself playing in Inter’s Primavera side initially if the move goes through but like compatriot Lucien Agoume, he could find himself in and around the first team if he performs well.
