There is high probability that Christian Eriksen will make his second start for Inter in this weekend’s second Derby della Madonnina of the season against AC Milan according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The 27-year-old Danish international joined Inter during the January transfer window from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and made his first start for the club in Sunday’s 2-0 win away to Udinese.

Eriksen showed signs of struggle during the match against Udine and it was clear that he has not yet fully understood Conte’s methods but due to yet another injury crisis in the midfield, Eriksen might need to play again from the start rather than being eased in to help him adapt.

Roberto Gagliardini is definitely out for the match whilst both Stefano Sensi and Borja Valero are both doubtful to play as well.

Inter manager Antonio Conte could opt to deploy Eriksen due to his technical ability and unpredictability but could instead decide upon Matias Vecino due to his physicality.
