CSKA Sofia sporting director Cristiano Giaretta has warned Inter that they cannot underestimate their upcoming Europa League opponents Ludogorets.

Inter are due to face the reigning Bulgarian champions this month for a place in the last 16 of the Europa League and are seen by many as massive favourites for the match.

Ludogorets will firstly host Inter at the Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad on February 20 and Inter will host the second leg the following week at San Siro in Milan. Kick off for the first leg is 18:55 CET and the second leg kick off time is 21:00 CET.

Ludogorets are currently sitting top of the Bulgarian league five points clear of second place after 20 games placed and are chasing their ninth straight title.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio earlier on today, Giaretta, who played for lower league sides Pro Sesto and Monza among others during his player career said: “They are a team that should not be underestimated. They are a team that almost every year plays in the Champions League. Obviously we cannot compare the two teams but they cannot be taken lightly.”
