Juventus attacker Federico Bernardeschi has praised both Inter and Lazio for their performances this season and believes the two clubs are deserving of their positions in the Serie A table.
Juventus currently lead the way at the top of the Serie A table with 54 points to their name after 22 games played but Inter are breathing right down their neck with them in second place in 51 poins.
Lazio not that far behind either with them sitting on 49 points in third place and they also have a game in hand meaning they could move within two points of Juventus if they are to win.
The Italian international winger is well aware that given how well the Nerazzurri and Biancocelesti have done, they cannot afford to slip up, as he admitted in an interview with Tuttosport, which appeared in today’s print edition of the Turin newspaper.
“It is our intention to reach more than one of our objectives but it is essential for us to not make any more mistakes. Our opponents have shown that they deserve their place in the standings,” he said.
“We are ready for anything and will prove that but Inter and Lazio are two great teams. They have shown they can give us a hard time. This gets the adrenaline pumping and forces us to not give up and to not make any mistakes.”
This season the 25-year-old has one goal and one assist in 25 appearances across all competitions.
