Manchester United appear set to join Inter and Napoli in the race to sign Marash Kumbulla from Hellas Verona according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Napoli have already agreed terms with Hellas Verona over the transfer of the 19-year-old centre back and whilst Inter have yet to agree terms with the Gialloblu club, it is understood that the player prefers the idea of a move to Inter as do his representatives due to technical and economic reasons.

Manchester United were present at San Siro on Sunday to take in Kumbulla’s performance as they faced off against AC Milan.

Kumbulla is understood to have impressed the Premier League club’s scout so much so that they are now prepared to enter the race to sign the Italian born Albanian international defender.

This news has come much to the delight of Hellas Verona who are hoping to be able to get between €25-30 million for him.

This season he has made 16 appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed a single goal.
