Ionut Radu could become Inter’s back-up goalkeeper from next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Romanian shot-stopper spent the first half of the 2019/20 season out on loan at Genoa and is now out on loan at Parma.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is keeping a close eye on how the youngster develops and could decide to make him the back-up to club captain and current number one Samir Handanovic. If this is to happen, current back-up Daniele Padelli would then become the club’s third choice goalkeeper.

The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to state that Inter could opt for a new goalkeeper entirely to fill that back-up role.

As per the report, Inter could go in for Udinese’s Juan Musso and could well include Radu as part of any deal for the Argentine. The 25-year-old has made 23 appearances across all competitions this season and kept seven clean sheets to date.
