Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has insisted that none of the club’s players, including the highly coveted Federico Chiesa, have asked to leave.

Several of the clubs players have drawn links with moves elsewhere as of late, perhaps none more so than Chiesa who has long been linked with a move away from La Viola, who he has spent his whole career with so far.

“No one has ever asked me to leave so far,” Commisso remarked in an interview with Corriere dello Sport, which appeared in today’s print edition.

Inter and Juventus are both understood to be long term admirers of the Italian international winger and Commisso then went on to admit that he would not stand in the way of Chiesa if he wanted to leave, so long as the money was right.

“If at the end of the season the boy is really wanting to leave, he can be satisfied so long as the money is right, as always.”

The 22-year-old, who is under contract with the Florence based club until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this season. In 1766 minutes on the field, Chiesa has scored four goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
