Alexis Sanchez will start alongside Romelu Lukaku up front for Inter in this weekend’s second Derby della Madonnina of the season against AC Milan according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Injury has limited Sanchez’s involvement this season since his arrival from Manchester United on a season long loan in the Summer and the report states that this match will be his chance to prove Inter were right to bring him in over Edin Dzeko.

The report goes on to add that the player himself wants to leave good memories at Inter with him almost certain to return to Manchester United at the end of the season, barring any surprises.

The 31-year-old Chilean international will play for the third straight game on Sunday in what will be just his 10th appearance across all competitions to date this term. In little over 300 minutes on the field, the former Arsenal man has contributed one goal and provided three assists.
