Inter manager Antonio Conte and his coaching staff hope to be able to recover Borja Valero and Stefano Sensi for this weekend’s second Derby della Madonnina of the season with AC Milan.

According to a report in today’s print edition of Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte and his staff hope to have the duo, who missed the 2-0 win over Udinese through injury, training with the rest of the team either today or tomorrow.

The hope is that both players will be able to recover and be available for the match against the Rossoneri, even if they can only make it onto the bench.

The report goes on to add that Alexis Sanchez appears to the most likely candidate to partner Romelu Lukaku up top whilst Diego Godin appears favourite over Danilo D’Ambrosio to come in in place of the suspended Alessandro Bastoni.

The report concludes that January transfer window recruit Christian Eriksen will also be handed his second consecutive start.
