In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, Inter central midfielder Stefano Sensi has shared his thoughts ahead of this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina between Inter and AC Milan.

The Italian international has been missing for the past few weeks due to a calf problem but reports state that he is working hard to be back available to Inter manager Antonio Conte for selection.

Despite the fact 19 points currently separate Inter in second place from AC Milan who are currently in eighth place in the Serie A table, Sensi, who joined Inter in a season long loan with option to buy deal from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo this past Summer, admitted he knows that the match against the Rossoneri will be far from easy.

He said: “We must be careful and concentrated throughout the game because it will be tough.”

Sensi also spoke on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is largely expected to play a big role for AC Milan on Sunday night at San Siro.

“A champion has arrived at AC Milan, he has shown it throughout his career. He has raised the attention, concentration and also lifted a little pressure off of his teammates.”
