Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola really wants to add Inter centre back Milan Skriniar to his side in the Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

City previously came in for Skriniar with a €65 million offer but Inter rejected that offer. City could well come in with a fresh offer for the Slovakian international defender and as per the report, they would be willing to even include Joao Cancelo in any deal.

Inter however do not seem interested in dealing away the 24-year-old, who signed a contract extension to the end of the 2022/23 season just last year.

Skriniar joined the club back in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal that saw Gianluca Caprari head to Sampdoria.

Skriniar has since cemented himself not only as one of the best defenders in Serie A but on the planet and has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona too.
