Inter manager Antonio Conte could deploy his team in a 3-4-1-2 formation for this Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

As per the report, Samir Handanovic wishes to be available for the derby his condition will be tested again tomorrow and this will be decisive in whether or not he is available.

The Slovenian sustained a hairline fracture to his finger in training a week ago and if the tests conducted come back good, he could play with some protection. If not, Daniele Padelli will play again.

Diego Godin will come in in place of the suspended Alessandro Bastoni at centre back and Alexis Sanchez will replace Sebastiano Esposito in the attack and will partner Romelu Lukaku.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to add that both Stefano Sensi and Borja Valero should be in the squad for the match whilst the only certain absentee is Roberto Gagliardini.
