Emiliano Viviano is set to train with Inter for the next few days as Inter ponder whether to bring in another goalkeeper according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

With number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic currently sidelined due to a hairline fracture in the small finger of his left hand, Inter have had to rely on Daniele Padelli but could bring Viviano in to provide more cover in the absence of Handanovic.

Viviano, as per the report, will undergo a medical with Inter today and will train with the team whilst Inter management decide whether or not to bring in another goalkeeper.

The 34-year-old shot-stopper is currently without a club having left Portuguese giants Sporting back in September and has recently been training with former club Sampdoria to keep his fitness up.

Viviano has made 251 appearances in Serie A during his career with him also playing for Bologna, SPAL, Palermo and Fiorentina on top of Sampdoria in Italy.
