Due to Samir Handanovic’s injury, Inter are considering the possibility of bringing in another goalkeeper according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Handanovic has missed Inter’s past two games with a hairline fracture to the small finger in his left hand and the feeling amongst Inter staff is that Handanovic will not be back all too soon.

Handanovic is a doubt for the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg with Napoli on Wednesday and this weekend’s league match against Lazio and may not make it back for the next league match either which comes after a Europa League match hence why Inter are looking around.

As per the report from the Rome based newspaper Emiliano Viviano is a player they could well go in for. The 34-year-old is currently without a club having left Sporting last Summer and is training with former club Sampdoria to stay fit.

Gianluca Curci is also a possibility. The former Bologna and Roma goalkeeper is also a free agent and last played for Swedish Allsvenskan outfit Hammarby.
