Axel Bakayoko’s future will be decided within the next two months according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The young French winger is currently out on loan at Swiss side St Gallen, who have an option to turn his stay with them into a permanent one for a sum of €4 million.
Bakayoko spent the 2018/19 season with St Gallen and they were so impressed with him that they took him on loan again for this season but injuries have disrupted his progress and limited his playing time.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract with Inter until the end of next season, has made just eight appearances to date this season and in just over 200 minutes on the field, he has managed to provide a single assist for one of his teammates of the AFG Arena side.
Bakayoko joined Inter from French club Red Star’s academy back in the Summer of 2014 and he has made a single first team appearance for the Nerazzurri in the time since.
