The match officials for the Coppa Italia semi final first legs have been confirmed and Gianpaolo Calvarese has been assigned as the referee for Inter’s match against Napoli.

The 43-year-old has refereed 12 games to date across all competitions including two of Inter’s matches and one of Napoli’s.

He was in charge of Inter’s 3-1 win away to Sampdoria on match day six in Serie A and their goalless draw at home to Roma on match day 15 and he refereed Napoli’s goalless draw with lowly Genoa on match day 12.

In the dozen matches he has refereed to date, he has handed out 65 yellow cards and two red cards.

Sergio Ranghetti and Salvatore Longo will be Calvarese’s assistants for the match that is to be played at San Siro tomorrow night, with kick off scheduled for 20:45 local time. Federico La Penna will be the fourth official for the game.

Maurizio Mariani has been assigned to take charge of VAR and will have Giacomo Paganessi alongside to assist him.
