Inter owners Suning have paid out some €5.8 million in performance related bonuses this season according to a report from football finance experts, Calcio e Finanza.

Suning paid out €3.5 million during the Serie A winter break due to the club being in the Champions League places at that time and have also paid out €1.65 million due to Inter’s wins over Napoli and both the Milan derby wins.

A further €675,000 has been paid out due to Inter reaching the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and there are still more bonuses on offer between now and the end of the season.

With games against Juventus, Napoli and Roma still to come in the second half of the season, Suning could pay out another €1.65 million if Inter are to win all three games.

The report goes on to state that Suning will pay out a bonus of €3.5 million if Inter finish third in the league, €8 million for second or €10 million if Inter are to become the champions of Serie A.
