Inter manager Antonio Conte could rest star striker Romelu Lukaku in tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian striker has been almost ever present for Inter this season and has netted 21 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions to date.

Conte could rest him and deploy Lautaro Martinez, who is back available after serving a two match suspension, alongside Alexis Sanchez in the attack.

Lautaro and Alexis have played together a few times earlier on in the season and did show some signs of promise, particularly in the Champions League match away to Barcelona and Serie A match away to Sampdoria.

Christian Eriksen seems almost certain to come into the starting line-up as he becomes increasingly more aware of what Conte needs and wants from him.

Victor Moses and Cristiano Biraghi will replace Antonio Candreva and Ashley Young at wing backs and the report concludes that Stefano Sensi will likely get some game time in the second half.
