Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Inter wing back Cristiano Biraghi, has admitted Ashley Young’s recent arrival at Inter is not a problem, despite the fact it has cost his client his starting spot in the Inter team.

After initially struggling to break into the team, from match day eight until now he has started in all barring three of Inter’s league matches.

The Italian international, who is at the club on loan from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina, has however not started any of Inter’s past three games across all competitions and he has appeared for just one minute across those games.

“He played regularly in the first half of the season but now he has not played in three games. Young arrived in January, but that is not a problem. He must be ready when called into question,” Giuffredi insisted in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

Biraghi, who is an Inter academy graduate, has made 21 appearances across all competitions this season. In little under 1400 minutes on the park, Biraghi has tallied four assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.

Young has meanwhile started and finished all of Inter’s past four matches across all competitions.
