Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has near enough decided on the team he will deploy against Inter tonight in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi final according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Alex Meret will start in goals for the Partenopei side and Mario Rui and Giovanni Di Lorenzo will occupy the full back slots. Kostas Manolas will take up one of the centre back slots but Gattuso is still yet to decide whether to deploy Kalidou Koulibaly or Nikola Maksimovic alongside him.
January recruit Diego Demme will be the only midfielder that started the 3-2 loss to retain his place in the middle of the park with Piotr Zielinski and Stanislav Lobotka to make way for Eljif Elmas and Fabian Ruiz respectively.
The report goes on to add that Dries Mertens will be handed his first start since Gattuso took over and will play at striker and will have Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne either side of him.
