Inter have been the best performing team away from home in Serie A this season a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport highlights.

Antonio Conte’s Nerazzurri side have picked up 29 from a possible 33 points available to them on the road this season, an average of 2.63 points per game. Inter have won nine of the 11 they played with the lost points coming in from draws with Fiorentina and Lecce.

This is six more points than both of their fellow title chasers Juventus and Lazio have picked up with them having both picked up 23 points on their travels this term.

Inter’s away form is in fact better than their home form the report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to highlight. Inter have picked up 25 points from a possible 36 available to them from home games this season, an average of 2.08 points per game.

Corriere dello Sport put the difference down to the fact that when playing at home, Inter are typically faced with sides who focus on defending first whilst this is not necessarily the case when Inter are away from San Siro.
