Daniele Padelli will continue in goal for Inter against Lazio, with Samir Handanovic still out injured.
The Slovenian goalkeeper sustained a hairline fracture to the small finger in his left hand in training and hasn’t played since the win over Fiorentina on January 29.
The Nerazzurri were weighing-up the possibility of signing Emiliano Viviano to provide cover, but after subjecting the veteran to a medical they decided not to sign him.
Tuttosport expects Padelli to continue in goal against Lazio on Sunday night, with 36-year-old veteran Tommaso Berni on the bench.
Filip Stankovic, son of Dejan, is also expected to be called-up for the match.
Padelli will also be in goal for the Europa League first leg with Ludogorets and, if Handanovic’s recovery proceeds on schedule, the return match.
If the Slovenian’s recovery takes longer than expected though he could play in the second leg with the Bulgarians in order to be ready for the Scudetto showdown with Juventus in Turin on March 1.
