Inter have identified several possible replacements for striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The 22-year-old Argentine national team striker is looking increasingly likely to leave the Nerazzurri during the Summer transfer window with Barcelona reportedly already in talks with Inter over him.

Inter current favourite to replace him is is Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman only joined Barcelona last Summer from Atletico Madrid in a €120 million deal and due to amortisation, has a value of €100 million against the reigning Spanish champions books now.

The 2018 World Cup winner aside, Arsenal’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial are all also believed to be under consideration by Inter management.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to add that Inter are eyeing Dries Mertens on a free transfer due to the fact his deal with Napoli is due to expire at the end of the season. Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud, who was strongly linked with the club in January, might also come in on a free transfer in the Summer.
