Inter could make a move for Napoli midfielder Allan in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has taken the decision to leave the Brazilian midfielder out of his squad for the Partenopei’s trip to Sardinia to take on Cagliari which the Rome based newspaper suggest could be a prelude to a departure.

The 29-year-old has grown increasingly distant from the club over the past 13 months and it is looking more and more likely that he will depart come the end of this season.

13 months ago Paris Saint Germain showed a strong interest in signing him and he became distracted by this interest and then found himself dropped.

Prior to this most recent dropping, relations between Allan and the club became further strained earlier on in the season when the whole training camp fiasco kicked off when several players refused to go into a training camp demand by club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The report goes on to add that Inter could well come in for the former Udinese man whilst he may look to be reunited with former manager Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.
