Former Inter midfielder Aron Winter believes that Inter should have no problems in overcoming Ludogorets in their upcoming Europa League round of 32 tie.

The reigning Bulgarian champions at to host the first leg this coming Thursday at the Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad, Bulgaria, and Inter will play the role of hosts the following Thursday for the second leg.

“I do not think there will be any problems for the Nerazzurri. Inter are a team with more experience and organisation, I dare not think of a different outcome than them winning. Inter will be a tough opponent for everyone in the Europa League,” he explained in an interview with Bulgarian news outlet Trud.bg.

Winter then went on to discuss the race for the Serie A title and who he thinks will ultimately be crowned champions of Italy come the end of this season.

“I think Juventus will win in the end. I hope Inter will win, but Juventus are more than likely going to become Italian champions.”

The Dutchman then spoke on comparisons that have always been made between Ronaldo, who he played alongside at Inter, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Both are unique players, but for me the Brazilian was superior to CR7 . If he hadn’t been injured so often, he would have certainly won much more.”

Winter spent three seasons with Inter between 1996 and 1999. In that time he made 119 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he scored three goals and tallied two assists.
