Barcelona could offer Philippe Coutinho as part of a deal for Inter that would see them sign Lautaro Martinez from the Nerazzurri according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Barcelona are very interested in signing 22-year-old Lautaro but have no intentions of paying his €111 million release clause in his contract due to Financial Fair Play.

The reigning Spanish champions are therefore considering a player or players plus cash deal for the Argentine international, who has also drawn links to their arch rivals Real Madrid in the past few days.

By adding players in, the deal could be worth around €150 million in total when the values of the players being sent to Inter are included.

Inter want Antoine Griezmann as part of the deal but if his inclusion is impossible, Inter have several other players that they would like, including Arturo Vidal, who they tried in vain to sign in January.

Coutinho’s inclusion cannot be excluded either. The Brazilian has spent this season out on loan at Bayern Munich but the Bavarians, at this moment anyway, do not look likely to take up their purchase option on him.
