Inter and Juventus both regret their respective decisions to not move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Milinkovic-Savic is arguably the best midfielder in the league on his day but it was not too long ago when the Serbian’s performances significantly declined as did his transfer value.

The 24-year-old midfielder is now understood to be valued at no less than €100 million by Lazio and the two clubs are kicking themselves for not moving for him whilst his value was much lower.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is delighted to have resisted previous offers that came in from clubs for Milinkovic-Savic with that decision certainly paying dividends now with the performances Milinkovic-Savic is putting in. Lazio now also deem the former Genk player as indispensable.

This season he has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date. In little under 2400 minutes on the park, Milinkovic-Savic has scored five goals and tallied seven assists.
