Diego Godin is to bid farewell to Inter at the end of this season just a season after arriving according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The experienced Uruguayan international centre back has struggled to adapt at Inter and has recently lost his starting berth in Antonio Conte’s team to Alessandro Bastoni, who he is 14 years the senior of.
Godin joined Inter on a free transfer ahead of this season from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid where he made a name for himself as one of the best defenders about but he has been unable to replicate such performances in a Nerazzurri shirt.
