Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez have emerged as one of the best strike forces in world football this season but the pair of them have struggled in recent weeks, a report from the online edition of Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport highlights.

The Belgian and Argentine national team player’s have scored 37 goals between them this season across all competitions with 21 of those being Lukaku’s and the other 16 belonging to Lautaro. Only Lazio’s strike force of Ciro Immobile and Felipe Caicedo (34 goals) have scored more than them across Europe’s top five leagues this term.

The goals Lukaku and Lautaro have scored equate to no less than 56% of Inter’s total goal tally this season but the duo have now went three games without scoring when playing together.

Lukaku last scored in the 2-0 win over Udinese four games ago whilst Lautaro’s last goal came in the 1-1 draw at home to Cagliari five games ago.
