Lautaro Martinez is in no hurry to leave Inter amid continued interest in his services from Barcelona according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

His goal is in fact to sign a new and improved contract extension but before agreeing to anything, he wishes to understand what the clubs intentions are. He remains entirely focused and is wanting to get out of the current rut he has found himself in and return to playing how he did earlier on in the season.

Barcelona are said to see the Argentine as a long term replacement for the ageing Luis Suarez and the report goes on to state that the reigning Spanish champions could do a deal worth as much as €150 million with Inter over the 22-year-old forward.

Due to Financial Fair Play, Barcelona cannot pay Lautaro’s €111 million release clause in his Inter contract but are willing to offer some players as part of any deal.

They could offer between €70-80 million and then one or two players to take the total value up to around the €150 million mark.

The report also adds that Barcelona could seek to have Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi included in the deal with him being a player that they have admired for a long time.
