Ludogorets striker Claudio Keseru is convinced that he and his teammates have what it takes to compete with Inter across the two legs of their upcoming Europa League round of 32 clash.

The first leg is due to take place tomorrow at the Ludogorets Arena in Razgrad and Keseru believes that the reigning Bulgarian champions have an advantage over their Nerazzurri counterparts.

“We have the advantage of all knowing each other well, we have a good understanding and we get along on and off the pitch. We respect each other and know our limits. We will fight to the end, I am sure that we will be ready, in every respect,” the 33-year-old Romanian explained in an interview with broadcaster UEFA TV.

In an interview with Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in today’s print edition, Keseru went on to reveal that he dreams of scoring a goal in the second leg at San Siro, a stadium that means a lot to him.

“I could almost call this a derby, becase as a child I liked Milan very much and now I dream of scoring a goal in the stadium of Ronaldo and Shevchenko.”

He then went on to add that he thinks he and his teammates can put Inter into some difficulty over the two legs.

“In Europe we only made mistakes against Espanyol. We have the quality and organisation and we know how to control the ball.”

In conclusion he spoke on Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, who is certain to miss at least one of the two legs due to injury.

“He is a great goalkeeper and directs their defence. For us, however, it will be important to put pressure on them in the final third of the pitch and force them into making mistakes.”
