Paris Saint Germain are no longer convinced about the idea of signing on loan striker Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis come the end of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The 26-year-old Argentine striker joined the reigning French champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal, PSG have an option to make his stay at the club into a permanent one for a sum of €70 million.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that both Real Madrid and Juventus are keeping a close eye on the situation and could make a move for him if PSG do not take up their option.

Real Madrid are willing to offer a player or players plus cash deal for the former Barcelona academy player but his wife, and agent, Wanda Nara, is not so keen on the idea of her client moving to Los Blancos. She would far prefer him to move to Juventus.
