Respected Italian football journalist Paolo Condo has shared his belief that Inter will need to be careful in this evening’s Europa League round of 32 first leg clash away to Ludogorets.

“In this last period Inter have slowed down a bit and they will find the champions of Bulgaria in front of them tonight. They [Ludogorets] are first in the the league and the Nerazzurri will have to be careful when facing them, even if I believe that Conte’s team is superior,” he explained as he appeared in Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s studios earlier on today.

Condo then discussed how Italian teams tend to not take the Europa League as seriously as it perhaps should be with them often opting to heavily rotate their teams.

“Every year we always talk about having to be ambitious in this competition but then often the Italian teams make a lot of rotation and give the feeling of not caring very much for this cup.”

Inter head into this match as huge favourites despite the rotation Antonio Conte is expected to make to the team, with some reports stating he will change as many as seven players for the match compared to the side that started in this past weekend’s 2-1 Serie A loss to Lazio.

This evening’s match is scheduled to kick off at 19:55 local time, which is 18:55 CET. The second leg of this match is due to take place a week today at San Siro.
