Respected Italian football pundit Daniele ‘Lele’ Adani has shared his views on Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen after the Dane scored his first goal for the club in last night’s 2-0 Europa League round of 32 first leg win away to Ludogorets.
The recently turned 28-year-old was given just his second start for the club in the match at the Ludogorets Arena and grabbed the opportunity with both hands as he opened his goal scoring account for the club with a nice strike from outside the box to give the Nerazzurri the lead.
“He is a thoughtful player who is capable of scoring from outside the box but he certainly does not fight often in the midfield. He has lots of qualities and is someone who sets the tempo. He is an added value to Inter,” Adani explained in the studios of Sky Sport Italia earlier on today.
Adani then went on to speak about Romelu Lukaku who set up Eriksen’s goal and scored Inter’s second goal from the penalty spot, which was his 22nd goal of the season across all competitions to date.
“He is a complete player and capable of being leader. He is capable of solving things at the right moment. He is someone who gives a lot to others.”
Adani spent two years of his 17 year playing career on Inter’s books between the years 2002 and 2004. Adani made a total of 45 appearances for the club in which he scored five goals.
