Inter manager Antonio Conte could deploy the team in a 3-4-1-2 system for this weekend’s Serie A match at home to lowly Sampdoria according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Having notched his first goal for Inter in his second start for the club in last night’s Europa League round of 32 first leg win over Ludogorets, Christian Eriksen will be handed his third start and will be played in his preferred attacking midfield role in behind the two strikers.

Having heavily rotated the team for the match in Bulgaria, Conte will revert the team to its usual state with Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young and Romelu Lukaku all set to come back into the starting line-up.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Daniele Padelli; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
