Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena is one of Inter’s main targets for the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet fichajes.net.
The 22-year-old has been out on loan with Real Betis since the beginning of January this year and has impressed Inter with his performances during his short time with the Andalusia based club.
Inter could make a move for the 22-year-old but the report goes on to state that Alena could well be included as a makeweight in Barcelona’s bid to sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez as could 2018 World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann, who has not lived up to expectations during his time with the Blaugrana following his €120 million move to them this past Summer.
This season Alena, who is under contract with the reigning Spanish champions until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 13 appearances across all competitions during which time he has provided two assists.
