Sampdoria talisman Fabio Quagliarella may not start for the Blucerchiati in their upcoming Serie A match away to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The veteran striker could well be replaced by one of Federico Bonazzoli or Antonino La Gumina for the match at San Siro on Sunday night this despite the fact Quagliarella is Sampdoria’s top goalscorer this season having netted eight goals in 21 appearances across all competitions.
Sampdoria manager Claudio Ranieri could well make several other changes for the match including a change in formation to a 4-4-2 as a result of Gaston Ramirez being suspended for the match against the Serie A title chasing Nerazzurri.
The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Albin Ekdal, Maya Yoshida, Fabio Depaoli, Julian Chabot and Jakub Jankto may all come into to the starting line-up having started on the bench in last weekend’s 5-1 loss at home to Fiorentina.
